Landscape Photography from Switzerland and the World
Now that winter has started in the higher altitudes, we went to the canton of Fribourg to visit the Gastlosen, a prominant mountain range. However, when we arrived we could only see plenty of fog. So for half of our hike we were in the white soup, but when it finally started to clear up, we had an increadible view at a sea of clouds covering the entire valley.
In an attempt to photograph nice yellow larch trees, we went to Albulapass in Graubünden. At the famous Lai da Paluogna, we indeed found a beautiful fall atmosphere and the cold weather showed first signs of the coming winter.
Fall arrived in the mountains and we took the opportunity to see the colourful Meiental. Before sunrise we drove to the valley to catch the first rays of sunlight on the peaks. Then we took a walk through the yellow larch tree forests and red blueberry bushes.
